Ron Sofranko, a partner in Walnut Grill Holdings, expects the location will be a strong one for the new restaurant, noting that one of the shopping center’s main tenant, the Pittsburgh Bottle Shop Cafe, has always been successful there.
“It fits our model. it fits our prototype,” said Sofranko of the new location, adding the other restaurants are 5,700 square feet in size.
The new Walnut Grill is expected to build upon the restaurant’s growing business with diners drawn to its outdoor patio, added Sofranko. The Bridgeville location will include 2,500 square feet of patio space along with 230 seats inside.
“We’ve learned the suburban patio environment is very popular for our concept,” he said.
