East Carson Street literally runs the whole gamut of the South Side, from flashy Station Square to hip and urbane SouthSide Works. In between these two entertainment and shopping destinations, though, lies a unique neighborhood with a crunchy, urban feel.
Two- and three-story Victorian buildings now have unique stores (like Groovy, a must-see for anyone who was a kid in the '70s and '80s), coffee shops, some of the city’s finest restaurants and bars, bars, bars. A lot of people say the South Side is where Pittsburgh goes to play!
