Background and Education: I started in the restaurant business at the age of 15 as a busboy and just continued up through the ranks until I became a Barman through my 20s... During that time, I studied beer and wine extensively and eventually became a certified Cicerone and Sommelier... looking for a new challenge after working in a craft beer-centered concept for several years, I got a sales position for years in an importer/distributor, and that opened the gates into the world of craft brewing. For the next ten years, I worked in the brewing industry, in production, packaging, supply, and sales. Working at Sofranko presents the next challenge for me and I’m quite excited to bring all of my experience together!
Out of the Office: I hang out with my unbelievably cool daughter... I play music in the many venues around town as much as I can. I travel. I love to read. I enjoy the incredible restaurant scene in my hometown of Philadelphia.
Favorite Local Spot: I've been quite partial to Solar Myth lately... great wine and drinks, amazing vinyl spinning all the time... great shows...
Favorite Food: it would be way easier if just told you what I DON'T like to eat...
