A new partnership is working to bring a new triple-play restaurant strategy to 2100 Carson St., a restaurant location in the heart of the South Side’s business district known for predecessors such as Mullen’s on Carson and before it Paparazzi.
Led by former Coca-Cola executive Troy Potteiger and his wife Dana, the group bought the corner property earlier in the summer and are renovating it into a property that will feature a new pizza restaurant called Circolo Wood-fired on the first floor, a piano bar called 88 Lounge on the second, and a cigar bar called Stogies on the third. It’s an approach the ownership group, which also includes Wexford-based restaurant consultant Ron Sofranko and two other partners, expects to offer varying sources of business for different parts of the day.
